Claire Howard has been making her own jewellery for nine years, and has since opened a shop in Fakenham on the 17th August 2024.
She is one of a recent series of independent sellers to open in Fakenham, from hat-makers to homewares, and is pleased to support this quaint and increasingly popular Market town.
Mrs. Howard lives in Fakenham herself, and is an advocate for local small businesses to bring authenticity and personality to the area.
She describes her work as “a hobby that got out of control” and now shares her passion for jewellery making by selling her work to others and hosting workshops.
All of her work is hand made in her shop, 27 Upper Market Place Fakenham, where she also hosts her workshops.
Originally, Mrs. Howard sold all her jewellery at Pop-Up events, but found that she needed a larger space to create, store, and sell her work all in the same place.
Her work is inspired by the beauties of the Norfolk Coast, and all her jewellery is made from sterling silver.
She says: “I like quite small, delicate pieces of jewellery” and reflects this in her talented designs.
She is passionate that her creations are meaningful, and wants people to be able to tell a story about her pieces of jewellery.
