City head into the game unbeaten in eight matches, although they had to rely on a 96th minute equaliser to pick up a draw against 10-man Hull at Carrow Road last time out.
Meanwhile, Town’s form has rather stuttered since their lightning start to the season – a 1-0 defeat at high-flying Sheffield United bringing a fifth defeat in seven league outings.
Sunday’s game kicks off a busy period for the Canaries. Little more than 48 hours after their derby duty, City have a Tuesday night trip to Premier League big boys Arsenal in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup (7.45pm).
Then it’s Championship visits from Bradley Johnson’s Derby (Saturday 28 October, 3pm) and the leaders, John Ruddy’s Wolverhampton Wanderers (Tuesday 31 October, 7.45pm).
