King’s Lynn Town spent £1,105 on fees to agents in the year ending February 1 – all on one player.
The sum is what the Linnets paid to sign Emmanuel Oke and was paid to Eyeconic Sport Management Ltd.
The sum is revealed in the latest figures provided by the Football Association,
Oke, 21, joined Lynn last June on a two-year contract with a further option, having been allowed to leave previous club Margate.
He started eight games and made seven appearances off the bench before he joined Bishop's Stortford on loan in December.
Of the 33 teams in the National League system included in the FA figures, 29 spent more on intermediaries and agents than the Linnets.
Of the teams currently in National League North, Boston spent £6,620, Scunthorpe £4,977, Spennymoor £4,531, South Shields £2,817, Hereford £935 and Darlington £900.
