Credo Asset Finance can help budding racing drivers get on the grid with its new motorsport finance initiative.
So it's Easter and, while most people are tucking into their chocolate eggs and sitting to watch the Easter movie on TV, my attention has moved to the new Formula One season and whether Lewis Hamilton will win a fifth driver's title.
I'm sure I am not alone feeling that exhilaration of the race circuit, and experiencing the thrill and intensity of the drive, even though I'm only watching from afar.
However F1 is not just about the drivers. Their race strategy involves choosing on the right tyres and successfully being able to predict how soon or how late they'll wear off. It involves studying the weather forecasts and making a decision about when, and whether, to don wet rubber over dry rubber.
Some teams have cars which go quicker round corners owing to better aerodynamics and downforce. Other teams have cars which are quicker in a straight line. Fractions of a second can make the difference between winning and losing, which is why F1 drivers are revered, respected and admired. Put it all into perspective, and F1 is a difficult sport to beat.
Motorsport, generally, is one of the few sports that has evolved significantly by the passing of time. What you witness in a race is not just cars going round, it's engineering getting enhanced and future technology we'll see on some of tomorrow's road cars.
But for people who want to get involved themselves in the grassroots world of motorsport, how do they manage it? How can you start out, if you're not backed by big money, and wanted to get on the circuit yourself?
Well this is where I'm delighted to announce that Credo have now ventured, with the launch of our new initiative Credo Motorsport Finance. We have teamed up with the MINI Challenge for the 2018 season and can now offer people interested in the sport new ways to finance their own race car including the entry fee and maintenance package.
Now your racing future can really be a reality! Why not have a look at our website to see what we can offer.
And don't forget to follow the MINI Challenge. We'll be there at all the race meets and be very happy to talk to anyone about funding their racing dream, and Credo's wider work.
