Norfolk's fire service has released an image revealing the scale of a scrap metal fire that broke out in King's Lynn last night.
Crews from King's Lynn, Terrington, Sandringham, Hunstanton, Fakenham, Aylsham, Hingham and Sheringham were called to the blaze in the open near Edward Benefer Way just after 10.30pm on Thursday.
They used ground monitors and main jets to extinguish the flames.
Locals were warned to keep their windows and doors shut due to the high volumes of smoke in the air.
Most of the firefighters were stood down at around 3am but one appliance remained on scene throughout the morning to monitor the situation.
The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed nobody was injured.
The fire service has now released an image showing the scale of the blaze
It shows thick plumes of smoke emerging from a yard and several fire engines can be seen parked behind the safety cordon.
