Two Norfolk restaurants have been named as finalists in the first English Chippy Awards.
The Catch, in King's Lynn, is up for the Cafe of the Year title while Wells Crab House, in Wells-next-the-Sea, is in the running for Seafood Specialist of the Year.
The Catch came under new management in 2023 and is known for dishing up Yorkshire fishcakes and spicy southern fried chicken burgers as well as traditional fish and chips.

The new owners previously ran a chippy in Skegness.
Wells Crab House is a seafood restaurant that opened just a short hop from the harbour in 2016.
It has since received several awards including Best Restaurant in Norfolk at the Eat Norfolk Food and Drink Award 2018 and the overall Best Seafood Establishment and Restaurant of the Year at The Food Awards England 2023.
The English Chippy Awards are being organised by Creative Oceanic, the firm behind more than 150 annual awards ceremonies in the UK, Ireland, US and Canada.
