A tattoo artist with clients all over the world has applied to open her own studio in the city.
Plans have emerged for the Eyrie, a new tattoo studio in St Augustines Street in the former home of Cruse Bereavement Care.
Lacey Law, who is a tattooer and printmaker, has more than 60,000 followers on social media and has submitted the plans to Norwich City Council.
She said: "Nothing is set in stone until the application is approved.
"However, if it all goes smoothly I hope to open around Valentine's Day in 2025.
"I've been using the shop as a private art studio for the last two and a half years and it will be great to be able to combine both of my creative practices into one space."
Lacey has grown an international following since she started tattooing seven years ago.
She said: "I think around 75pc of my clients come from outside Norfolk, and around 10pc from countries abroad.
"I have several clients in the US, where there isn't a great deal of black work tattoo artists, which is what I do.
"I've spent three days on one tattoo before - when people are travelling so far, you want to get it finished before they go home.
"It's a pretty intense experience but very satisfying."
Eyrie, meaning the nest of a bird of prey, comes from Lacey's love of eagles and her desire to have her own "creative nest."

Lacey explained: "It is every tattooer's dream to have their own space, and this will be a dreamy creative nest where I can be freely artistic.
"St Augustines Street was an important location for me, as it straddles the line of the city wall and has a magical quality.
"This is a great street for creatives and I just feel ready to open my own studio here now."
Norwich City Council will aim to decide on the plans by January 3.
