A group of five people got into trouble after being cut off by rising tides at one of Norfolk's most popular beaches.
The beachgoers were on the west end side of the beach huts on Wells beach when the approaching sea caught them out.
The Wells NCI Coastwatch quickly called the Wells RNLI lifeboat after spotting the group shortly before 1pm yesterday.

The D Class lifeboat was dispatched 10 minutes later and made its way out of the harbour, heading west to the scene.
The five were understood to have found their own way safely ashore, but the crew found a young person at risk who had waded out onto the sandbank.
The RNLI crew were on hand to ensure they found themselves safely back onto the main beach.

After a sweep to ensure no further casualties the crew was stood down at 1.35pm
A Wells RNLI spokesman said: "We’re pleased that today’s rescue was straightforward and all was well, but to avoid getting caught out by the tide, please check the tide times before setting out along the coast.
"It is essential to be back on the main part of the beach, where the sand is dry and soft, at least four hours before high tide to prevent being cut off."
