Villagers have created a stunning display of poppies at a towering West Norfolk church.
A sea of red currently washes over the archway leading to St Mary's at Snettisham, near King's Lynn, marking the approach of Remembrance day on November 11.
Girlguides, scout groups and local people of all ages have knitted and crocheted more than 2,000 of the flowers for a poignant tribute.
Organiser June Barrett from Snettisham Royal British Legion (RBL), said the branch celebrated its 100th anniversary back in April.
"I'm the poppy appeal organiser and it was just an idea I had to do something a bit special for our centenary," she said.
"I put it out on social media and magazines and asked people to make poppies. They could knit, crochet, or whatever, the only criteria was they had to be red and be able to be attached to netting."
Mrs Barrett said the youngest poppy maker was a six-year-old beaver scout, while the oldest was in her 90s.

People can sponsor a poppy in aid of the RBL poppy appeal and attach a message to remember someone.
One has been dedicated to a soldier who served in the Norfolk Regiment.
Another little girl wrote on her poppy: "The only person I know who has died is my dog."
