A fast-growing energy publication celebrated its five-year anniversary with a special event in Norwich on Thursday, October 24.
Insight Energy is a sister title of the Eastern Daily Press and East Anglian Daily Times, with the first edition published in November 2019.
The event at Exchange Street Buildings in Norwich recognised the magazine's journey from a fledgling publication to a trusted source for in-depth coverage of the energy sector across the UK and Europe.
Attendees enjoyed an evening of celebration and networking, along with speeches from Steve Maddams of LOCALiQ, publisher of Insight Energy, and Dr Dorian Hindmarsh of event sponsor Proeon Systems.
Commenting on the event and the impact of the magazine, Steve Maddams said: “It was incredible to celebrate the success of Insight Energy, which now has a strong and loyal audience in the energy industry, with stories consistently proving of huge interest not just to the supply chain but our local audience too.
“We are now proud media partners of the biggest events in the energy sector across the UK and Europe; something we could have only dreamed about when we first started. We now have 34,500 monthly unique visitors engaging with our Insight Energy content, consuming 62,000 story pages every month.
“Insight Energy looks forward to continuing its mission of delivering essential energy industry news and insights, fostering connections and supporting the industry’s development over the years to come.”
Stephen Smith, director of Clarksons Port Services, who attended the event, said: “It’s been inspiring to witness Insight Energy’s growth and impact within our industry. This event was a testament to the connections and knowledge this publication brings to our sector, especially in the East of England, and how it fosters collaboration and insight for all.”
Jenna Perry, business development manager at Stowen Group, added: “Last night’s event was a true reflection of Insight Energy’s commitment to its audience. Celebrating with so many familiar faces, all brought together by their dedication to the energy sector, was a fantastic experience.”
