A date has been fixed for the inquests of two sisters and their aunt who were killed in Costessey earlier this year.

Jasmin and Natasha Kuczynska were found dead in their family home in January, along with their 36-year-old aunt Kanticha Sukpengpanao. They were just 12 and eight years old.

The trio were killed by their father, Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45, who is then believed to have taken his own life.

During a short hearing at Norfolk Coroner's Court, it was confirmed that inquests into the deaths of the three victims will be held next summer.

However, a separate inquest for Kuczynski is yet to be scheduled, with a further hearing due to be held next week.

Senior coroner for Norfolk Jacqueline Lake said that an inquest for Jasmin, Natasha and Ms Sukpengpanao had been scheduled for the week commencing June 2, next year.

Preliminary hearings will also be held next year, on March 10 and April 23 respectively.

She added that a further hearing relating to the father's death would be held on Thursday, October 31.

She said: "By that time a date should have been fixed."

The tragic incident, on January 19 this year, sent shockwaves through the local community.

It sparked a series of questions over both the support available to Kuczynski at the time and the way police respond to calls related to mental health.

In the wake of the tragedy, Norfolk Constabulary postponed the rollout of a controversial scheme called Right Care, Right Person, which scales back the force's involvement in welfare checks and mental health.

Under the policy, officers will only attend mental health crisis jobs if there is judged to be an immediate risk to life or public safety.

The case sparked a review of the policy, but it has since been brought into effect.
