A rural road will be closed for more than five weeks while works are completed on a bridge.
The Stow Bedon Bridge, in Mere Road, will be shut from Monday, October 28 until Friday, December 6.
During this time, it will be strengthened with reinforced concrete and repairs to its brickwork arch.

The road on and around the bridge will also be resurfaced.
The carriageway will be blocked for safety reasons and a signed diversion route will be in place.
Traffic will be redirected via Mere Road, Cherry Tree Lane, Watton Road, Rockland Road and Gravelpit Hill.
The work will cost £95,000.
