A man who fled to Norwich over fears for his safety has appeared in court accused of making threats to kill.
Daniel Cryan, 44, originally from Scarborough in North Yorkshire, pleaded guilty at Norwich Magistrates’ Court to making a death threat on April 11.
He appeared in custody after being arrested for failing to attend previous hearings. He will be sentenced on November 26.
Georgina Fishwick, representing him, said: “He came to Norfolk from Scarborough due to the fear of people in the area.”
