A Norfolk school has been shortlisted for a prestigious education award.
Education charity PTI has revealed its shortlisted candidates for the 2024/2025 Bernice McCabe Award, which recognises exemplary subject leadership in schools.
Norfolk's Wymondham College has been nominated for its music department; while The Warren School in Romford has been recognised for its maths provision, and Priory School in Lewes has been shortlisted for modern foreign languages.
The winning school will receive a £5,000 prize and a trophy.

The award aims to celebrate departments that place high-quality subject teaching at the forefront of their curriculum.
Hugh Rayment-Pickard, PTI's co-director, said: “I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to these exceptional departments who have been nominated for their commitment to subject excellence.
"In honour of our late founding Co-Director, the Bernice McCabe Award continues to celebrate the outstanding work of teachers in shaping and inspiring young minds.
"This year’s nominees truly embody our mission to raise educational standards.”
