A former forge and offices could be converted into four new homes for locals.
Westacre Estate has applied for planning permission to convert the Old Forge at East Walton, between King's Lynn and Swaffham.
It says in a planning statement: "The proposal is to convert the Old Forge into two one-bedroom and two two-bedroom residential units for rental to the local community.

"The Westacre Estate already lets a number of residential properties in the immediate and wider area and the Old Forge would allow it to cater to the demand for smaller, more economical units, either for single people, young families or the elderly."
Solar panels will be fitted to the roof to keep tenants' bills down, while a new door and four new windows will be added.
The building, on Church Lane, was converted into offices in 1996 and has been empty since 2022.
