A woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the A1066 near Riddlesworth, between Thetford and Diss, just after 4pm on Friday.
They had received reports of a crash between a white Honda Acura and a white Skoda Superb.
The road was closed whilst emergency services including fire, ambulance and air ambulance attended the scene.
The driver of the Honda, a woman aged in her 20s, was taken by air to Addenbrooke Hospital with serious injuries.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said a second woman was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital by road ambulance and two children were assessed and discharged into the care of the family.
The extent of injuries of the woman taken to West Suffolk Hospital is not known.
The road reopened at around 8.20pm.
Officers would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone who saw the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the crash.
