A coastal village in Norfolk has been named among the best spots in the UK for a late summer getaway.
The Telegraph has been compiling its top 30 picks for places across the country for an end-of-summer break with Brancaster scooping a place on the list.
The article said: "Holkham tends to hog all the 'best Norfolk beach' limelight. But Brancaster, 10 miles west, is pretty fine too.
"Here, you’ll find an immensity of wide, dune-backed golden sand while the surrounding coast and hinterland fizzles into a morass of creeks, sandbanks and salt marshes that are brilliant for birds."
In addition to the latest accolade, Brancaster is no stranger to scooping success having made a name for itself with idyllic beaches, thriving fishing communities and some of the freshest seafood in the country.
