A couple hope to build their "forever home" in a leafy Norfolk village.
The pair, named as Mr and Mrs Fairbrother in planning papers, have applied for permission to develop land at Upwell, near Downham Market.
A planning statement says they hope to build a two storey, five-bed property using reclaimed brick on a site they have bought off Small Lode, which would become their "forever family home".
It would include a turret and have an ornamental garden.

"The proposed design is truly bespoke, tailored to client and family needs and not designed for open-market sale," it adds.
"The applicants are long-term residents of the village, Mrs Fairbrother’s maiden name is Lunn, which has a longstanding connection with the village."
The statement says the Fairbrothers currently live close to the application site on Listers Road, and before that they took on a barn conversion on Small Lode.
A decision is expected later this year.
