A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the A47.
The woman was driving a blue Ford Fiesta towards Dereham at the time of the crash which involved a silver VW Golf and then a silver VW Transporter van.
Emergency services flooded the scene at around 2.45pm on Thursday by the junction with Low Road in Hockering.
An air ambulance, three road ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and two fire crews were all sent to the crash.
The Fiesta driver was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries, where she remains.
One other person was also taken to hospital for further treatment.
The road was closed for eight and a half hours as emergency services worked to make the scene safe, reopening at 11.15pm.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage.
