A woman in her 50s died four months after being involved in a crash, an inquest has heard.
Judy Adcock died at her home in Attleborough on May 25 this year. She was 55 years old.
An inquest into her death was opened at Norfolk Coroner's Court on Friday, August 16 by senior coroner Jacqueline Lake.
The court heard that in January, four months before her death, Mrs Adcock had been involved in a road traffic collision.
Details of the location and precise date of the crash were not read out to the court.
During a short hearing, Mrs Lake confirmed that Mrs Adcock was born in Spooner Row, but lived in Attleborough, and worked as a cleaner.
She said that the provisional medical cause of her death was pulmonary thromboembolism, a condition whereby a blood clot breaks travels into a person's lungs.
She added: "It is my understanding that Mrs Adcock was involved in a road traffic collision in January 2024."
She adjourned the hearing for a full inquest to take place, which will be held on December 19.
