It is usually played in doubles on a court one-third the size of a tennis court, surrounded by walls of glass and metallic mesh.

Founder Alex Nagshineh said: “We’re really excited to bring the sport of padel to Norfolk.

"Given Padel culture's relaxed and social nature, we aim to create a welcoming and comfortable space for players and casual visitors to kick back with friends and family."

To build a community, Blazing Padels will offer social sessions, events and leagues for players to meet and connect with each other.

It will open with a celebration launch day on September 29 offering visitors the chance to watch a demonstration game featuring members of the Great Britain Padel Team and have the opportunity to ‘beat the pros’.
