The shocking murder of a 23-year-old man in broad daylight on the streets of Great Yarmouth was caught on CCTV.

Footage filmed on shop and private residential cameras played a key part in the murder trial of Junior Suleimane with the jury - and victim's family - watching how the grisly events unfolded in front of them.

Junior SuleimaneJunior Suleimane (Image: Norfolk Constabulary) Footage from CCTV passed to this paper at the time of the killing - in February 2023 - showed Felizardo Jose Vieira-Balde being confronted by Suleimane as he walked past the Londis shop in St Peter's Road, close to the seafront.

But instead of leaving the scene, Suleimane got off his bike and removed a large, zombie-style knife from his bag before approaching Mr Vieira-Balde in the road.

Speaking at the time, Superintendent Nathan Clark said: "This is a shocking incident and we are working closely with the families involved.

This newspaper passed the video to police in the hope it would help the investigation and catch those behind the murder.

Police were aware footage of the incident was being shared on social media but asked those responsible to stop.

Speaking at the time, Detective Inspector Dave McCormack, said: "Behind this footage is real people; someone has lost their life and a family are left grieving."
