A family-owned freight firm and an electrical cable distributor are celebrating 20 years of working together which has seen deliveries double in the last decade.
Bartrums, based in Eye, first started distributing goods for Goldwing Cable, in Beccles, in 2004, and now deliver more than double the number of palletised shipments for the cable company compared to just ten years ago.
Both businesses are well-known in Suffolk, with Bartrums established more than 90 years ago and Goldwing delivering cable for a quarter of a century.
Robert Bartrum, managing director at the Bartrum Group, said: “We deliver palletised orders for Goldwing Cable on a daily basis.
“Over 20 years, we’ve come to know each other very well and I believe we provide the same high level of service today as we did when we first won their business in 2004.
“It’s also great to see two businesses from Suffolk fly the flag for East Anglia."

“We do have certain demands, but they will always do anything to help us."
