With the summer holidays here, entertaining young ones for six weeks can be a challenge but these two family attractions may offer one of the nation's best day trips.
The lifestyle magazine Muddy Stilettos has been ranking its picks for the UK's best family attractions with two Norfolk spots making the list.
Pensthorpe Natural Park, which spans 700 acres across a range of habitats, was the first to gain a mention.
The park, near Fakenham, offers a wide range of things to do with bird hides, wildlife experiences, indoor and outdoor play areas, children’s activities and regular events.

The article said: "Pensthorpe Natural Park really is the place to bring everyone from Granny to baby. There’s always a fun adventure trail to follow."
The 55-acre park has undergone a major revamp in recent years with bosses stating “we are no longer the local playpark" after two new rides were launched last summer.
The new flyer and swing rides were added to the 25 indoor and outdoor attractions.
