From a National Trust visitor centre to 85 new homes in south Norfolk, here are five public notices to be aware of in the county this week.

1) Everyman Cinema

Plans for an Everyman Cinema in the Chantry Place shopping centre have taken a step forward as bosses seek to extend the opening hours of the new venue.

The firm has now requested permission from Norwich City Council to open between the hours of 9am and 2am every day - as opposed to the previously permitted hours of 10am and 10pm.

The bid for extended hours comes as Vue Cinema in Norwich's Castle Quarter seeks permission from the city council to screen films 24 hours per day.

2) New homes in Loddon

South Norfolk Council has given its approval to the proposals for land north of Beccles Road in Loddon, spanning nine acres and amounting to 85 new homes.

The houses are set to be located directly next to another approved development of 180 properties which could result in a significant boost to the population of the town.

3) Disruption from University Drive roadworks

Due to roadworks in University Drive at the University of East Anglia and the closure of Bluebell Road, a diversion will be in place until August 8.

First Bus has said some lines will face "severe alterations" as a result of the work.

The Blue Line and Costessey Park and Ride services will be subject to a major diversion, disrupting the 25, 26 and 26A.

4) National Trust Visitor Centre

The National Trust has submitted plans to construct the new premises at Morston Quay.

It is hoped the new facilities will improve accessibility through new toilets and also be an improved space for staff to carry out their duties.

Currently, there is only a temporary building at the site which is a popular location for people wanting to spot seals from nearby Blakeney.

5) Del's Nursery

North Norfolk council officers have agreed plans for a portable building at Del's Nursery at Sculthorpe near Fakenham.

It comes despite objections from Sculthorpe Parish Council over parking on and around the site in Barsham Road.
