A RAF centre in Norfolk is hosting its first American Day and it will feature classic cars and stateside snacks.
The event will take place at the RAF Sculthorpe Heritage Centre, near Fakenham, on Sunday, August 11 2024 from 10am to 4pm.
The museum, which first launched in August 2019, recently relocated to a larger building and former chapel at the site.
RAF Sculthorpe was open from 1943 until 1992 and it was one of the largest and most strategically important American airbases in the country.

The heritage centre will be open on the day alongside its AYA Café and American sweet shop.
At the event, there will be classic and military vehicles, live music, American football demonstrations, a barbecue, a popcorn and lemonade truck and much more.
Members of USAF squadrons from RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall will also be in attendance.
Historic Aero Engines will be running a 1941 Rolls Royce Merlin from a Lancaster Bomber.

Ian Brown, founder, said: "Come and enjoy a slice of America in Norfolk and celebrate our fifth anniversary."
Tickets cost £5 for adults (free for under 16s) payable by cash or card on the day and dogs on leads are welcome - the postcode is NR21 7LX.
The centre opens on the first Sunday of the month from 10am to 4pm from February until November, with American Day replacing the August Open Day.
