9 celebrities spotted in Norfolk during summer 2024

1. Hugh Jackman

Hollywood star Hugh Jackman enjoyed a meal at The George Hotel in Norwich back in June.

The actor's mum lives in the city and he has recently been gushing about the Canaries on the press tour of Deadpool & Wolverine. 

His mum also watched his latest film, where he stars opposite Ryan Reynolds, at Cinema City.

2. Susan Calman

Comedian and presenter Susan Calman was in Cromer with a film crew in June and she visited locations including the pier and North Sea Coffee Co along the promenade. 

She was there filming Susan Calman's Grand Day Out by the Sea for Channel 5.

3. James Hooton

Emmerdale star James Hooton, best known for playing Sam Dingle in the ITV soap, enjoyed a ride on the famous Joyland Super Snails in July. 

He was visiting Great Yarmouth for the National Street Rod Association's Fun on the Beach event.

4. Steve Coogan

Steve Coogan was spotted at various locations in Norwich back in June, including Elm Hill, for the filming of the six-part series And Did Those Feet... with Alan Partridge.

It follows the Norfolk-born broadcaster as he reintegrates into British life after a year working in Saudi Arabia. 

Coogan also popped into Yalm Food Hall in the Royal Arcade for a bite to eat.

5. Phil Vickery

Phil Vickery was filmed at Davies Fish Shop in Cromer, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, on a recent episode of ITV's This Morning.

He purchased some Cromer crab and met owner John Davies, who runs the business with his wife Claire. 

The celebrity chef then headed to Bacton Beach to prepare a crab and beetroot cocktail.

6. Katie Price

TV personality and model Katie Price pulled up to The White Horse in East Runton in her distinctive pink Range Rover in August.

She enjoyed a Sunday roast with her son Harvey and boyfriend JJ Slater, who appeared on Married At First Sight UK.

7. Pixie Lott

Also at The White Horse in East Runton, Pixie Lott was billed as a "mystery singer" performing on August 23.

She has had three number-one singles with Mama Do, Boys & Girls and All About Tonight.

8. Anton Du Beke

Anton Du Beke met fans at Waterstones in Norwich to sign copies of his debut children's book Code Name Foxtrot on August 29.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge took photos and chatted with fans at the event.

9. Kelly Brook

Model, actress and presenter Kelly Brook took a boat trip through Stiffkey salt marshes with her husband Jeremy Parisi and dog Teddy.

The couple are currently starring in BBC One's Celebrity Race Across the World.
