Plans to convert barns in the Norfolk Broads into new holiday lets have been met with objections from a charity over fears it would increase light pollution and traffic.
The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England's (CPRE) Norfolk branch has taken a stand against the bid, which would create five properties for short-term stays in Tunstall, a village near Acle.
Developer R J Moore and Partners say the units at Low Farm will boost tourism and the local economy, adding the conversion will be carried out in a sustainable manner.

It says the barns are currently "under-utilised" and that this would provide a new purpose for the structures.
However, the CPRE have objected, complaining it will have an adverse effect on the local landscape and increase light pollution, which would potentially affect the dark skies in the area.
Barbara Adamski, the planning expert at CPRE, added the homes would also likely be car-dependent, resulting in increased traffic, arguing this would make the site "unsustainable".
The plans have been submitted to the Broads Authority and the application will be decided at a later date.
