Tuck into tasty dishes and enjoy a jam-packed entertainment programme at an event celebrating the Philippines.

The Barrio Fiesta - Filipino Cultural Festival takes place on Saturday, August 3 2024 from 9am to 6pm on the field outside East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall in Mattishall Road.

There will be street food vendors, including The Pinoy Bakery, Odelish and Pacha, with authentic ingredients also available to buy.

There will be a raffle, with the top prize of an Apple iPad, a fashion show with traditional Filipino costumes, live music and much more.

The event has been running since 2010 and it is organised by volunteer members of the Filipino community group PINAS (Pinoy In Norwich Aksiong Samahan).

A spokesperson for the festival said: "This event is for family and friends to enjoy and meet other nationalities while getting acquainted with Filipino traditions and culture."

Entry costs £3, ages 12 and under enter for free, and parking is £2 with cash preferred (no alcohol is allowed).

The venue is located just off the A47 between Dereham and Norwich and the postcode is NR20 3LR.
