Rotary Clubs fund ex-army truck for crucial Ukraine mission (Image: Submitted)
Market day in Swaffham last Saturday saw an additional attraction—a heavy-duty, ex-army truck set for Ukraine.
Purchased by area Rotary Clubs, with a generous £1,500 boost from the Rotary Club of Reading, Scott Stone, his partner Zoë, and local Rotarians worked to raise necessary funds to ship and maintain the truck until war's end.
This vehicle will carry much-needed food, medical supplies, candles and more to Donbas.
The community generously donated scarce items too, contributing directly to Ukraine's crisis relief.
