New details have been revealed about the opening of another cinema in Norwich following months of uncertainty.
Plans for an Everyman Cinema in Chantry Place shopping centre have taken a step forward as with bosses seeking to extend the opening hours of the new venue.
The future of the project had previously been thrown into doubt after representatives for the company said they "could not comment" on the proposals, which were first submitted last year and soon granted approval.
However, Everyman Cinemas has now requested permission from Norwich City Council to open between the hours of 9am and 2am every day - as opposed to the previously permitted hours of 10am and 10pm.

The chain of boutique cinemas is hoping to open its new screens at three units in Chantry Place, including the former Cafe Rouge and Pizza Hut restaurants.
It will become the fourth cinema in Norwich - alongside Vue, Odeon in Riverside, and Cinema City in St Andrews Street.
The bid for extended hours comes as Vue Cinema in Norwich's Castle Quarter seeks permission from the city council to screen films 24 hours per day.
