The owner of a popular cake shop in a north Norfolk town is opening a sister dessert business a stone's throw away.

Megan Hart launched Winibees Bakery in Sheringham's High Street in July 2021 and she offers an array of sweet treats.

She is now starting a second business just down the road in the former home of Joyful West's Shellfish Bar, which closed in 2022 after more than 100 years in business.

Mrs Hart will open Crumble Crib in September or October this year and she will offer takeaways from the tiny shop.

Customers will be able to build their own crumble desserts by choosing a fruit base and toppings.

Mrs Hart said: "I had seen a few crumble places on social media and I saw a gap in the market in Sheringham.

"It is a fantastic little space and I had been eyeing it up for a while."

She is also looking to launch a second Winibees Bakery shop when she finds the right location in north Norfolk.
