A beloved north Norfolk railway has triumphed over hundreds across the country to be named among the nation's best.
Out of the nearly 200 heritage railway lines in the UK, The Times has ranked its top 14, with the North Norfolk Railway gaining a mention.
The five-and-a-half-mile line runs along the Sheringham coastline before turning inland through the countryside between Weybourne and Holt.

Nicknamed "The Poppy Line" due to the wildflowers that surround the line, the railway retraces the route by the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway that closed six decades ago.
Writer Andrew Eames said: "The line was originally built with holidaymakers in mind, running for part of its journey along the back of coastal dunes, sand between its toes.
"Holidaymakers remain its biggest fans, particularly for its cream tea, fish-and-chip, and even gin-tasting specials."
The railway puts on several events a year and is constantly evolving, whether it is hosting new locomotives or transporting guests back in time for its 1940s weekend.
