Police closed a village road in both directions after a crash.
All emergency services attended the incident this morning in the B1332 in Brooke.
Three fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to free the trapped occupants after being called out at 6.30am.
Police advised motorists to avoid the area as they put a local diversion in place.
The road remained close for several hours before reopening at around 11.30am
