Mystery surrounds the sudden death of a mother-of-two who died while on holiday in the Canary Islands.
An inquest into the death of Cara Clark, of Utting Close in Poringland, was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court this week.
It heard how the 37-year-old died at the Hotel Orquidea Hab in Las Palmas on May 9.
The medical cause of her death could not be ascertained by consultant histopathology, Dr Rajesh Logasundaram.
A full inquest to determine the circumstances surrounding her death will take place in November.
In a statement given to coroner’s officer, her husband, Johnathon Clark, confirmed that she had been born on April 16, 1987, in Northampton.
She was unemployed at the time of her death.
Her family paid tribute to her via an online memorial site, including her mother, Sonia, who described her as “larger than life" and an “angel”.
Her cousin, Pauline Kerstgens, said: “Your smile and laughter will live on in your beautiful girls, who you loved with all your heart.
"I will think of you often, so keep singing and dancing in the sky till we meet again.”
A celebration of her life took place on July 1 at Greenacres in Colney, Norwich, where donations for the charity MIND were collected.
