A promising young athlete has been awarded a prestigious sports accolade.
Ronnie Tubby, a Year 10 student from Ormiston Venture Academy, is this year’s recipient of the Foreman Cup.
The accolade, annually presented by the Great Yarmouth branch of the National Federation of Retail Newsagents, recognises local athletes' improvement and promise.
Ronnie impressed with 100m and 200m timings of 11.79 seconds and 24 seconds respectively.
The 2024 presentation was made by Carol Kemp, granddaughter of Mr Foreman.
