A person was taken to hospital following two collisions on the A11 within a few minutes of each other.
The first happened at about 7.30pm on Friday near Attleborough.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called just before 7.30pm on Friday, July 12 to a road traffic collision on the northbound A11 near Attleborough
"An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported one patient to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
Fire crews from Attleborough, East Harling, Wymondham and Thetford attended, helping with casualty care and making the scene safe.

Meanwhile emergency services were called to a crash on the A11 Newmarket Road in Norwich at around 7.45pm on Friday.
A car was seen in the middle of the road and the route was blocked off while officers dealt with the incident.
An ambulance also attended the crash but there are no details on any injuries.
Both roads reopened later that night.
