Forget sausages and burgers, an award-winning pub on the north Norfolk coast is hosting a barbecue with a seafood twist. 

The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe, recently named the best restaurant in Norfolk at the 2024 Muddy Awards, is bringing back their Lobster Barbecue on Friday, July 12 from 3pm to 9pm.

Head Chef Fran Haretshorne and General Manager Rob Williamson (Image: The White Horse) With no need to book, the event will take place in the pub's Marshside Bar, which overlooks the Brancaster Bay tidal marsh and beyond towards Scolt Head Island.

Guests can enjoy some of the best local lobster caught by ‘Wells Boy’ Billy Ward and accompanied with a delicious array of seasonal salads, sides and sauces.

The event will be fundraising in support of The Fishermen’s Mission Charity, Eastern Region.
