Conservative James Wild held North West Norfolk with a much-reduced majority on a night of carnage for his party.
He saw off Labour's Tim Leader by 4,594 votes, as support for the Tories collapsed elsewhere across the country, with Reform UK's Phil Walton, polling 8,697 votes, Liberal Democrat Rob Colwell 6,492 and Green Michael De Whalley 2,137.
Mr Wild, who was first elected to represent the constituency with a majority of more than 19,000 in 2019, said: "It's a huge privilege for me to be re-elected as the MP for North West Norfolk.
"I'm very grateful to people locally for putting their trust in me again."
Mr Wild lobbied for a replacement for the crumbling Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, starting with his maiden speech soon after he was elected for the first time at the 2019 poll.
The plight of the QEH was central to the campaign, with other parties claiming the government had let West Norfolk down, because work has yet to start on the new build.
Mr Wild said afterwards he would continue to lobby in opposition for funding for the hospital to be confirmed.
"It's been the number one priority for me for the last four and a half years and it will be until it's built," he added.
Labour's Tim Leaver said he had cut Mr Wild's majority and his party had had a good night elsewhere.
"We have a fantastic Labour government that will make real change and transform people's lives," he added.
