A 79-year-old man has died following a brain injury he sustained as a child, a court has heard.
Malcolm Fitt, of Woodcock Close, Norwich, died at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital on the evening of May 30.
An inquest into his death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall, this week.
It heard that the primary medical cause of Mr Fitt’s death was given as a seizure due to, or as a result of, a “traumatic brain injury as a child”.
Mr Finn was born in the city on March 27, 1945.
A full inquest to determine the official cause of death, and the circumstances leading up to it, will take place on November 14 at the court.
