A 36-year-old car enthusiast died after becoming trapped under his own vehicle, a court has heard.
Maciej Wachonski, of Low Road in Forncett St Peter, near Long Stratton, died on April 14.
An inquest into his death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall in Norwich, on June 26.
Assistant coroner, Christopher Leach, gave the medical cause of death as asphyxiation due to, or as a result of, being trapped under his own car.
A full inquest to investigate the moments leading up to his death will take place at the court later in the year in November.
During this time, the coroner will conclude the official cause of death.
Mr Wachonski is believed to have been born in Poland before moving to England, and worked as a personal assistant and support worker.
