A man is to stand trial accused of suffocating his wife in Norwich.
Michal Staniawski, 41, of no fixed abode, has been charged with intentional suffocation of the woman in Norwich on November 25 2023.
Staniawski appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday when he entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
He entered a guilty plea to an offence of damaging property, namely an iPhone, on the same date.
Recorder Douglas Herbert set a trial date of October 27 next year.
Staniawski, formerly of Oak Close, Norwich, was granted bail.
