A 38-year-old woman who was found unconscious inside her home died from alcohol poisoning, a court has heard.
Victoria Ellis was discovered by her family at her home in Saxifrage Court, Hunstanton, on April 9.
She had been unconscious at the bottom of her stairs when her stepmother called for an ambulance.
Despite attempts to save her, Ms Ellis was declared deceased by paramedics.
An inquest into her death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall, Norwich, on June 12.
The medical cause of death was given as “acute ethanol toxicity”.
The court also heard that Ms Ellis had been born on March 4, 1986, in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. She was unemployed at the time of her death.
A full inquest to establish the official cause of death will take place on December 6.
