The leader of the Green Party group at Norfolk County Council has been re-elected for another year.

Ben Price, county councillor for the Thorpe Hamlet division at County Hall, was chosen to continue in the role at his group's annual meeting.

Mr Price has been leader of the group, which has four councillors at County Hall, since 2021.

He said: "I'm very proud to be re-elected as the leader of the Green group at Norfolk County Council.

"We are a small group, but we work hard driving the narrative at County Hall, bringing into sharp focus the environmental and social weaknesses within the organisation, forcing the leadership to act much faster than they otherwise would.

"We will continue to work hard on behalf of Norfolk residents and try to create a more positive county that looks after those who need support."

The Conservatives control the county council with 54 councillors, the Liberal Democrats 11, Labour 10, there are three non-aligned independents and two independents who have formed a group.
