Two caravan parks in Norfolk have been named among the poshest in the UK. 

The Mail Online has rounded up the sites across the country that offer more luxury than the usual holiday parks.

Set just eight miles inland from the coast, Old Brick Kilns in Barney near Fakenham was one of the sites to make the list.

Its 65 pitches sprawl across 13 acres of countryside and the publication commended its "contemporary washrooms" with underfloor heating, as well as being able to order warm croissants and bacon turnovers for breakfast.

The second park to receive national attention was Pinecones in Dersingham.

The site, which is open every month of the year, provides a relaxing setting for taking in the sights of Norfolk, with Holkham and Snettisham beaches nearby.

The article stated: "There’s a good mishmash of family accommodation - from traditional pitches to trendy pods."

It comes after Pensthorpe's new camping and glamping site was named one of the UK's best by The Guardian.
