For those dreaming of driving a car that screams elegance and class, one Rolls Royce is going under the hammer for a surprising price.

A 1987 model is going to auction in King's Lynn later this month with a guide price of £5,000.

With notable owners such as Queen Elizabeth II, John Lennon and David Beckham, the British brand is popular among celebrities and the royals.

This 1987 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit in Windsor Blue has clocked 76,559 miles in its 37 years on the road.

Owned by the same vendor since 2020, the car was run regularly until 2023 when it was stored but it is said to still drive very well.

The car has an extensive history with more than 100 receipts and invoices dating back to 1991. 

Recent work has included the cruise control being replaced in 2022, along with the air conditioning repaired and new baffles in the exhaust.

The Rolls Royce is going under the hammer at Anglia Car Auctions in King's Lynn at the auction held on June 22 and June 23.
