Problems with homeless people flat in a Norwich tower block have led to a ban on people being there following a court order.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court granted a city council application for a three-month Full Closure Order on the property at Normandie Tower after serious anti-social behaviour.

A council anti-social behaviour response officer told magistrates that neighbours had complained of problems including excrement in hallways after it had become a haven for homeless people.
The closure means no one – including the tenant – can remain in the property. Breaching this can result in a prison sentence or an unlimited fine.
