A man racially harassed his neighbours with "unpredictable" behaviour like throwing objects at their house, posting things through their letterbox and staring through their windows.
Michael Beckett, from Nile Street in Norwich, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated disorderly behaviour and two counts of harassment, as well as threatening behaviour against two police officers.
A victim statement read at Norwich Magistrates' Court heard that the 66-year-old left his neighbours "scared in their own home" with his unusual behaviour, which included taking photos of them.

One victim added: "I want my life back."
The incident involving the police occurred after officers were called when he smashed up his own front window with a hammer.
Sarah Dawes, the magistrate, sentenced Beckett to an 18-month community order and imposed an 18-month restraining order,

He was also ordered to have alcohol abstinence equipment fitted to him for 90 days.
A victim surcharge will be subtracted from his next Universal Credit payment.
Speaking outside the court Beckett said he committed the offences due to alcohol abuse and because he "cannot find work".
