A new twilight attraction has been announced at a nature reserve in west Norfolk.

Night-time safari trailer tours are now running at Watatunga Wildlife Reserve, near King's Lynn, until August.

Guests will be offered the first chance to witness the animals at a "magical time in the reserve" as they emerge from the woodland to graze by the lake.

A self-drive electric buggy will allow visitors to travel around the park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8.30pm.

The reserve is home to more than 20 different species of deer and antelopes, as well as ungulate and rare birds.

Watatunga Wildlife Reserve has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2020, winning national tourist awards as well as introducing a host of new attractions.

The animals roam free on the 170-acre site which spans grassy savannah, lakes, marshland and more.

Visitors can hire a four-seater buddy, a six-seater buggy, or a wheelchair-accessible trailer from £60 to £120.

A limited number of tickets are available every week until August 27 and spaces can be booked via the events page on the reserve's website.
