A man has been charged with 20 offences following a series of thefts from vehicles in Reepham.
Police were called at around 7.15am on May 27 to reports that a vehicle had been broken into in Cawston Road with various items stolen.
It was followed by further reports of thefts from vehicles in surrounding streets.
A man was arrested on May 31 in connection with the incidents and was taken to Aylsham police station for questioning.
Leroy McKenna, aged 40, and of no fixed address, was charged with 10 counts of theft from a motor vehicle, nine counts of interfering with a motor vehicle and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was remanded into custody before appearing at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
McKenna is due to reappear at Norwich Crown Court on July 1.
